Patrick Bungard is co-founder and executive director of Tetranomics SE. With over 15 years of experience at the interface of business, science and sustainable corporate management, he combines in-depth analytical expertise with practical strategy development. His focus is on designing sustainable organisations that can successfully hold their own in highly dynamic and uncertain markets. His professional positions at Accenture, the Centre for Social Investment and Innovation at the University of Heidelberg and as founder and director of the sustainability consultancy M3TRIX have given him unique insights into the challenges facing modern companies. He has first-hand knowledge of the dynamics of global value chains, regulatory requirements and economic transformation and uses this knowledge to support organisations in developing robust, adaptable strategies. He also serves as Co-Chair Sustainability & Economics at the Parmenides Foundation and is the author of “CSR und Geschäftsmodelle” (Springer).

Julian Nida-Rümelin studied philosophy, physics, mathematics and political science in Munich and Tübingen. He has been teaching philosophy and political theory at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich since 2004. His research areas are the theory of rationality, ethics and political philosophy. Nida-Rümelin served as Minister of State for Culture in Schröder's first cabinet. He is a member of the B.-B. Academy of Sciences and the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, and has been an honorary professor at Humboldt University since 2001. In 2019, he received the Bavarian Order of Merit for outstanding services to the Free State of Bavaria and the Bavarian people.

Marc Werheid is Chief AI Innovation Officer of Tetranomics SE. In this role he is responsible for translating both the latest AI developments and current insights from the Parmenides Foundation's foundational research into product development. Among other things, he leads the development of Daphne and ensures that these developments and insights flow into the product strategy. He also heads LEAP, the company's internal development unit, which brings innovative AI products to market readiness quickly and experimentally.

Alongside his focus on artificial intelligence, Marc Werheid has extensive experience as a sustainability consultant. He works on integrating sustainable practices into a range of business contexts and supports companies in developing strategies that meet ecological, social and economic requirements.

As a co-founder of M3TRIX GmbH, which specializes in the development and implementation of sustainable corporate strategies, he helps companies make their processes and business models environmentally friendly, socially responsible and economically viable.

In addition, Marc Werheid is engaged in founding social startups. In 2021 he founded an impact-oriented startup in the sports sector.

As an editor of specialist books on sustainability, he shares his knowledge and provides expert insights for interested readers and professionals.

Holger first studied business administration, focusing on business informatics and logistics, and later earned his doctorate in the same field. During nearly a decade at CSC and another decade at Parmenides AG, he advised leading global corporations on innovative and bold, high-stakes decisions, including multi-billion investment decisions, using a unique visual reasoning framework that enabled the highest level of transparency and an innovative method for identifying scenario-robust strategies. As a co-founder, he also helped build a SaaS startup addressing the need for sovereign collaboration solutions. Today, he is focused on advancing Hybrid Intelligence at Tetranomics within the Paradigmatic Innovations Group, combining visual reasoning tools, AI capabilities, and Daphne as a cognitive companion to help corporations navigate speed of change, complexity and uncertainty with greater clarity and confidence.

Charlotte Binder pursues a systemic approach that develops transformative processes beyond classic sustainability towards regeneration and convergence. Her entrepreneurial experience as the founder of a food company forms the basis for her in-depth understanding of economic, social and ecological interrelationships. In addition, she gained valuable scientific expertise as a research assistant at the University of Bonn and supported start-ups as an entrepreneurship consultant at the German Sport University Cologne. Her expertise is further underpinned by her certification as a regenerative practitioner, which allows her to dive deep into the methodology of regenerative development.

René Schmidpeter is professor for Sustainable Management at the IU International University in Munich and guest professor in China, the USA, India, Australia and England. He is series editor for Springer's CSR, Sustainability, Ethics and Governance books and editor of the Encyclopedia of Sustainable Management. His research focuses on sustainable business transformation, social innovation and sustainable entrepreneurship, with special focus on the relationship between business and society. He serves as an expert in many academic, economic and political steering committees. Together with Patrick Bungard he was one of the co-founders of M3TRIX sustainability consulting.

Michael Öllinger studied psychology at LMU Munich and participated in the Graduate Program of the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences. He worked as a research scientist for the MPI and is a lecturer at LMU in the Department of General and Experimental Psychology. Since 2006 he has been a research scientist at the Parmenides Center for the Study of Thinking. His main interest is understanding human thinking from a psychological point of view: he conducts behavioural and physiological experiments in insight problem solving, causal reasoning and categorization, and develops cognitive theories that integrate behavioural and neurocognitive findings.

Eörs Szathmáry studied biology at Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest. Since 2011 he has been the director of the Parmenides Center for the Conceptual Foundations of Science at the Parmenides Foundation in Munich. His research topics include the major evolutionary transitions, origins of life and the genetic code, the emergence of the human language faculty, levels and mechanisms of biological cooperation, Darwinian neurodynamics and astrobiology. He is a member of the Presidium of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, the Norwegian Academy of Sciences and Letters, Academia Europaea and EMBO, and Principal Investigator of the ERC Synergy Grant “MiniLife”. His honours include the Széchenyi Prize (2017) and a Lifetime Achievement Award of the Evolutionary Linguistic Association (2024).

Ferenc Jordán is a biologist and leading expert in network and systems ecology, whose research focuses on understanding complex biological systems through interdisciplinary approaches. He earned his PhD from Eötvös Loránd University and has held prestigious positions including Branco Weiss Fellow at Collegium Budapest, Principal Investigator at Microsoft Research–COSBI in Trento, and Fellow at the Wissenschaftskolleg zu Berlin. He is currently a lead researcher at the Institute of Biological Research in Cluj-Napoca and a visiting professor at the University of Parma. His work integrates biology with economics, sociology and political science, aiming to uncover general principles that govern complex systems.
