Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 July 2026
Careful handling of personal data is a matter of course for us. This policy describes specifically which data is processed when you visit this website and when you contact us. We process personal data in accordance with the GDPR, the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the TDDDG.
1. Data controller
The controller for the processing of personal data on this website is Tetranomics SE, Hindenburgstraße 15, 82343 Pöcking, Germany. You can reach us by email at info@tetranomics.com and by phone at +49 8157 9039450.
For questions about data protection and to exercise your rights, a message to this address is sufficient.
2. Cookies and similar technologies
This website does not set any cookies. No information is stored on or read from your device beyond what is required for the technical delivery of the page. We use neither localStorage nor sessionStorage, IndexedDB or service workers.
No analytics, statistics, marketing or tracking services are integrated. No connections to third-party providers are established when the website is loaded. The typeface used is served from our own server; it is not retrieved from external providers.
For this reason no consent is required for visiting this website and we do not display a consent banner. Should we use optional services in the future that require access to your device, we will obtain your consent beforehand and activate such services only afterwards.
3. Visiting the website and server log files
When you access our website, the web server processes technically required connection data. This may include in particular:
- shortened IP address
- date and time of access
- the address requested
- amount of data transferred
- HTTP status code
- referrer address
- information about browser and operating system
IP addresses are stored in the log files in shortened form only: for IPv4 the last octet is replaced, for IPv6 the last 88 bits are anonymised. As a result, the stored access data can no longer be attributed directly to a specific person.
This processing serves to deliver the website securely, reliably and free of technical errors, to detect attacks and to analyse faults. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and reliable provision of our website.
The website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, acting as our processor. The server log files are deleted automatically after seven days.
4. Contact form
If you contact us using the contact form, we process the information you enter in order to review and answer your enquiry and to conduct any further communication. The following data is processed:
- name (required)
- organisation (required)
- role (optional)
- email address (required)
- topic or challenge (optional)
- your message (required)
Where your enquiry is directed at concluding or performing a contract, the processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other business enquiries, the processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in handling and answering business enquiries.
Your details are sent from our server as an email to our mailbox. We use Resend, Inc. as a processor for this delivery. The content of your message is not stored in a database on our web server. Only the delivery status of the sent email is stored so the form can show you whether your message was delivered. This status information contains no name, no email address and no message text.
To protect against automated spam, the form contains a field that is invisible to human visitors. If it is filled in, the submission is aborted and no data is transmitted. In addition, we limit the number of submissions per connection. For this purpose your IP address is stored only as a non-reversible hash value and is deleted after two hours at the latest. No external captcha service is used.
Enquiries that do not lead to a business relationship are deleted at the latest six months after the correspondence has ended. If your enquiry leads to a contract, the retention periods under commercial and tax law apply.
5. Contact by email or telephone
If you contact us by email or telephone, we process your contact details and the content of your message in order to handle your enquiry. The legal bases and retention periods depend on the content of the communication. Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR applies to contractual or pre-contractual communication, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR to other business communication.
6. Recipients and processors
We only transfer personal data where there is a legal basis for doing so or where it is necessary for the purposes described. Where service providers process personal data on our behalf, they are contractually bound in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. The following are currently used:
- Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, for operating the website and the server log files
- Plus Five Five, Inc. (Resend), 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA, for sending the email submitted via the contact form
No data is disclosed for advertising purposes. Personal data is not sold.
Data processing agreements pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR are in place with both service providers.
7. Transfers to third countries
When the contact-form email is sent, data is transferred to Plus Five Five, Inc. (Resend), based in the USA. This transfer takes place only when you submit the contact form, not when you merely visit the website.
The provider is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has issued an adequacy decision. In addition, the provider's data processing agreement incorporates the standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR. You can request a copy of these safeguards from us at info@tetranomics.com.
8. Retention periods
We store personal data only for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose. Statutory retention obligations may apply in addition, in particular under commercial and tax law. Once the purpose no longer applies and any retention periods have expired, the data is deleted or anonymised.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have in particular the following rights:
- access to the data processed about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
- withdrawal of consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)
- lodging a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR)
To exercise your rights, a message to info@tetranomics.com is sufficient.
10. Right to object
Where we process personal data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right to object to such processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.
11. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. For our registered office this is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
12. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, manipulation and unauthorised access. This website is transmitted in encrypted form via HTTPS. Credentials for sending email are stored outside the publicly accessible directory, and incoming status notifications are cryptographically verified for authenticity.
13. Changes to this privacy policy
We update this privacy policy when the website, the services used or the legal requirements change. The current version is always available on this page.
